No. It would be presumptuous for anyone to assume that they represent the only group of people that are faithful to the Lord. 2 Timothy 2:19 teaches that “the Lord knows those who are His.” All around the world, and throughout all of the Christian age there have been saints who have served the Lord in Spirit and truth (John 4:23,24) as members of the Lord’s kingdom that “shall stand forever” (Daniel 2:44). This body of faithful believers are members of “the church of the firstborn” (Hebrews 12:23) the “church of God which He purchased with His own blood” (Acts 20:28) worshiping as “churches of Christ” (Romans 16:16). Jesus built this church (Matthew 16:18). He built no denominations or sects. The saints at Olsen Park strive to be members of that “one body” (Ephesians 4:4) holding to the “faith which was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3). We believe that the Lord will save all who serve Him faithfully and that His church is made up of that saved group, called by the gospel unto fellowship with Him.
